Originally from Great Britain, Win came to Oakville with her family in 1976, and in 1994, moved to California and opened a prestigious gallery in Laguna Beach. Upon returning to Oakville, Win opened the Win Henstock Gallery:Oakville in 2006.
While in California, Win studied with several notable artists; Ken Auster, John Crosby, Roger Armstrong and Timothy Clark. While in London, she has had the good fortune of tutelage from Master watercolorist John Yardley.
Some of Win's most delightful paintings are those of children; playing on a beach, skating on a pond or flying kites. She portrays the essence of the moment. A prolific painter, she generously shares her love of her gift with others through art instruction.
Ms. Henstock is a member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club, Southern California Plein Air Society, an Elected Member of the Society of Canadian Painters and has exhibited in numerous juried shows in Canada and United States.
